Money is always tight in college times. It doesn’t matter whether you are joined at a community college or a fancy school, finding ways to make ends meet while you are endeavoring to stay on top of your studies is a challenge. There’s a similar case with many people like retired people and homemakers to make things going, they want to earn that little extra mazuma (money). That’s where the startup called SquadRun comes in.
It is Founded by Kanika Jain, Apurv Agrawal, Vikas Gulati in 2014. It is a crowd-sourcing platform that connects business to a smartphone enabled workforce. It’s an energizing new application that permits anyone with a cell phone to make mazuma as per task basis. For Example, classifying clothes in segments or removing the duplicates or just compare two products. You got it right! Their clients are eCommerce platforms like Flipkart and Snapdeal, who upload thousands of products every day.
The story behind…
“One of Apurv’s Best ventures while in college was ngoFuel.org, a crowd-sourcing platform to connect students with non-profits that needed basic tech help (websites, social media, etc). Suppose an NGO needs assistance with website development, college students who’re great with content skills, social media can do in some help. We scaled really well and quick. Apurv thought this idea of distributed workforce was a motivation for SquadRun.
What do they do?
It’s an enterprise SaaS (Software-as-a-service) platform that executes information concentrated operations with the best cost, quality, speed & scale than existing options. For example quality control, KYC/ merchant onboarding process, catalog data enrichment etc.
Simply, an e-commerce marketplace uses SquadRun for curation of content uploaded by sellers, moderation of user-generated product reviews, the audit of their customer support discussions, and tagging products to improve search relevance. Their clientele incorporates Flipkart, Myntra, Snapdeal and Apurv asserted that almost 2/3rd of their customers are living outside India today.
How SquadRun works for players?
Players sign up for SquadRun and make a profile. Then they pick up missions according to their preferences and finish it based on Determined rules. Once the missions have been successfully finished, the players gain SquadCoins which can be redeemed for mobile recharges or online shopping vouchers. “We are soon turning out with a feature which gives you to redeem direct cash,” adds Apurv.
A squadron is a powerful tool for both sides. For companies, it gives them access to a cost effective flexible workforce that can deliver quality outcomes in a limited time. For the players, it’s a simple way to make extra money.
